Great place to learn, get feet wet in the industry. People are young and social, easy to be around.
Pros: Office location People are young/social Collaborative environment Good place to learn about digital marketing field Cons: Limited growth opportunity Resistant to input from anyone other than senior management No work schedule flexibility
Best of the Best
Pros: This is really a great place to come to work every day. The people and environment are what really make Rosemont an awesome Company. Cons: A full time chef would be great but we can put that on the wish list! Advice to management: Keep doing what you are doing!
Customer is always right
Pros: Treats customers ethically in an industry where unethical tactics are often employed. You can feel good about the product you're working on or selling. Office located near beach. Small company means you learn a lot about how each department works. Cons: Treats employees unethically. Taking a day off means being questioned about whether you're "really sick" or not. No work-life balance. Employees are thought of as disposable no matter how long they've worked there. Small company means they're not legally required to follow FMLA, and they take advantage of that.
Awesome culture
Pros: Great People, Great environment - makes work fun Cons: None that I can think of Advice to management: Keep it up!
Stay very far away
Pros: The location was great when you were going into the office. The people were mostly young and a fun group Cons: Upper management is the worst. The CEO would steal ideas and try and make them his own. Super degrading to his employees. If you want to work in an office where every walk around on tippy tows or just turns the other way when you see your boss this is the place for you. Advice to management: Stay out of the office. Just go fish or to Costco.
Insanely Talented Team!
Pros: Throughout the entire company, the staff members are overwhelmingly skilled at what they do and frequently have great ideas that help keep the company at the forefront of our industry – and we ensure our work is executed through ethical means, which is critical. We have adapted really well to remote work, and have hybrid work options for any local employees who want or need to come into the office. The break room in the office is fully stocked with free snacks and drinks, and the beach is only a short walk away. The company culture here is something I haven't experienced at any other…
Not the best, but not the worst
Pros: - Good place to learn about the digital marketing field - Collaborative environment - Ability to work remotely/from home Cons: - Limited growth opportunity - Pay is lower than average - If you're a newer employee, there's a fear that the company will let you go at anytime - Low morale in team meetings and even company-wide meetings that are supposed to be "fun" - You can tell who the "favorites" in the company are
Great Team
Pros: Great team communication, chill remote work environment Cons: No cons come to mind
Great Company Culture
Pros: Rosemont was a great place to learn and grow with great colleagues. Very chill, supportive environment Cons: Not a huge amount of upward movement
CEO is Emotionally Unstable
Pros: Casual dress code, busy but with a beach vibe / laidback culture. The typical RM coworker is nice. Cons: The owners allow toxic team members to openly belittle others without consequence, even when the issue is brought to management’s attention. This toxic behavior leads to obvious and specific turnover, but the wronged person (at best) is met with indifference, particularly when the toxic individual is buddy-buddy with the owners. The workplace culture resembles a high school clique, where inclusion is based on favoritism. The CEO needs therapy, and marital counseling. He often…
Nice place to work
Pros: learning environment, supportive team, and nice office Cons: enjoyed working at Rosemont and the relationships at work
Bully management will make you miserable
Pros: My colleagues were genuinely amazing, but there is absolutely nothing good to say about Rosemont Media. Cons: • Employees are relentlessly bullied by management. • All of the hard work falls on employees while being forced to meet impossible expectations. • Management constantly takes credit for every success. • Blame for every failure is dumped onto employees. • Employees are treated like disposable cannon fodder with no value at all.
