Small company with growing pains
Owners/Managers are stretched beyond their capacity. Technology and platform is older and so you are limited on growing your skills with current coding trends. Pros: Snacks available, good co-workers, good location Cons: management is stretched beyond their limits, overloaded and does not have time to adequately manage team.
Collaborative, Innovative with Amazing Culture
The culture at WEO Media has been cultivated from the beginning to be collaborative, fun, innovative, and makes you want to show up each day. It is a hard job - super fast paced and high production in an agency setting, but the team works hard to support each other, and the partners try to create an environment of self-starters. Micro-management, no thank you! The company still has a start-up feel, and the partners work to be transparent about next steps and growth. Covid killed my good job
Good company to work for. Was able to work from home and had nice relations with everyone in the company. Pay is decent, many good perks as well. I was laid off due to Covid and that hurt.
Great Culture, responsive leadership
Leadership is always open to listen to the team members. We feel heard. Work Life balance is not just a phrase here. I feel like I can trust my team members when I hand off a task to them. Pros: remote options

WEO Media is a good place to work with supportive managers and coworkers, with a variety of benefits (medical/dental, 401k, education reimbursement, peer to peer recognition). WEO gives the autonomy to work from home (or in the office if local).

Pros: WEO Media is an award winning company which not only cares about the success of their employees and career trajectories, but their clients' goals as well. Simply put; they do the right thing! The culture is awesome which of course, comes from the top. Cons: With tremendous growth, come minor growing pains. A good problem to have and they've been managed well. Advice to management: Stay the course, it's working.

Pros: Family friendly, hard working and accomplished group, from top-down. Respectful , good people. Cons: Complete lack of urgency.

Pros: They provide food, massages, and the semblance of a "caring work family". Trust is afforded to most employees to a degree. You have a real chance to innovate here because they need literally every tool you can imagine and refuse to pay one cent for any existing tools. One of the easiest paychecks you can possibly imagine, which ends up being the one thing that long term employees can't give up. It's not much but weo needs you so much more than you need them. Great for Getting Into SEO
Pros: The team that you work with is awesome. Everyone there is super friendly and they do a lot to try to help you grow as a person as well as a worker. If you're starting out in SEO, it's a great way to learn more about the industry and learn how to manage multiple campaigns at once, especially for client communication. They are always pushing for automating tasks, which can be really helpful. Cons: The workload doesn't allow for real deep dives that would be expected with larger accounts. You're expected to manage anywhere from 60-80 accounts, which means a lot of the work being performed…

Pros: They value employee input and are willing to adapt to changing market conditions. Cons: This market is competitive, so you have to keep on your toes.
Where you're a person instead of an object
Pros: A positive and rewarding culture where the owners care about every employee. Strong connection to purpose. Outstanding leadership. Employee benefits and spiffs. Excellent reputation for customer service and SEO results. Pride in what we create and the services we provide. 90+ client retention rate year after year. Highly team oriented Cons: Some employees stayed longer than they should have, perhaps unworthy of the trust and independence extended them by leadership. Marketing in dentistry can be highly competitive, minimizing growth below company service potential.
